  • Project Manager (Commercial, Health Care, and Semiconductor Experience)

Charter Mechanical Contractors is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager.  Duties for this position will include:

  • Preparation of project proposals and estimates
  • Direction of resources and personnel within the project
  • Contract administration and documentation
  • Buyout of subcontractors, equipment, and materials
  • Labor productivity tracking
  • Schedule development
  • Project budget tracking and cost projections
  • Customer relations and business development
  • Project safety culture leadership
  • Solid communications skills – verbal and written

The ideal candidate will have:

  • College degree, preferably Construction Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.  Equivalent work experience also considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in the contracting industry.

 

  • Project Engineer

Charter Mechanical Contractors is currently seeking a Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager. Working under the supervision of a Project Manager, the duties included with this entry management position will include assisting with:

  • Preparation of project proposals and estimates
  • Purchasing and tracking of materials for installation
  • Labor productivity tracking
  • Contract documentation, submittals, CO and RFI logs
  • Schedule development

The ideal candidate will have a college degree, preferably Construction Engineering Management, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering.  Equivalent work experience also considered.   • Estimator

Charter Mechanical Contractors is currently seeking to fill an entry level mechanical Estimator position.  This is a great opportunity to learn from our experienced staff while developing your skills for a life-long career.  Working under the supervision of a Sr. Estimator, the duties included with this entry management position will include assisting with:

  • Take-off of quantities and items for cost development
  • Assistance in the preparation of project proposals
  • Vendor and subcontractor estimate reviews
  • Review of project specifications and constructability issues
  • Utilization of estimating software and Excel.

The ideal candidate will have experience in construction estimating and/or the mechanical construction industry. Related work experience required or college degree, preferably Construction Engineering Management, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering.
